AT Distro - Accessibility Technology
Check out the new Linux distribution for blind, deaf and mobility impaired users. Built on top of Ubuntu the idea behind the distribution is to provide a quick and simple out of the box experience for users with accessibility requirements. Often it is the case that blind, deaf and mobility impaired users are at a significant disadvantage financially and the costs of getting started with a modern operating system can be prohibitively expensive. AT Distro seeks to provide a solid leg up to people who would otherwise be expected to pay large amounts of money just to have access to the internet or send an email.
